Booking fee (platform fee)

The small fee Vano charges the customer when a helper accepts — 15% of the job price, minimum €5.

The booking fee is how Vano is paid: 15% of the job price, with a €4 minimum, charged to the customer's card when a helper accepts. It's the only money Vano touches — it funds the matching, ID checks, support and the money-back guarantee.

Nothing comes out of the helper's side any more: the job price is paid to the helper directly and they keep 100% of it as their take-home. (On older bookings Vano kept a 15% student-side cut instead — that only applies to jobs booked under the old system.) The full breakdown is in why Vano pays above minimum wage.
